Dove Feather
Toronto Public Opera House

Role: Designer

This project means a lot to me—it was my first professional design job, and I’m so happy with how it turned out. The goal was to create a logo that would define the brand identity, blending classic elements, vector graphics, and an animal symbol.

I landed on a dove blowing a trumpet—a perfect fit for an opera house. The dove represents peace and elegance, while the trumpet ties into music and theatrics. The idea was inspired by The Hunchback of Notre Dame (both the play and the 1997 Disney movie), which captured the dramatic, timeless feel I wanted.

This project helped me organize my workflow, improve my Illustrator skills, and experiment with mockups to see how designs come to life. Looking back, I’m proud of how it all came together and excited to keep growing as a designer.
